worn tags

“worn tags” is a collage of labels collected between 2014 and 2017. The single tag reflects an item of clothing bought, used or perhaps not, thrown away and thus ‘consumed’. The collages show themselves as a panorama of repeated, homologated and ephemeral purchases; on the other, as a contradiction, an absurdity, or rather, a surreal alternation of roles, since the clothes no longer exist, while their labels are here, witnesses of their ‘wearing out’.
